Our Hiring Process
A core principle of how Aptitude 8 operates is transparency. We want to ensure you know exactly what you're getting into when interviewing with us. While we consider new hires a "one-way door" and try to assess your abilities and cultural fit as deep as we can with a broad number of stakeholders, we also want to be conscious of the time to interview with us. As a result, we keep our interview process to just 4 steps outlined below.

01 Intro Call

You will meet with our People Ops team to discuss open roles, learn a bit about us, and for us to learn what type of role we think you're suited for.
02 Team Lead Call

You will meet with the team lead for the team you're matched with to discuss more about your skillset and learn about the day to day with that team.
03 Technical Interview

You will be given an exercise matched to your role and skill level to demonstrate your abilities to a hiring panel.
04 Exec Conversation

Meet with one of our executives to dive deeper into the company, our vision, and answer any final questions you may have on Aptitude 8.

Strategic Solutions Consultant

The Strategic Solutions Consultant supports the Director of Strategy in delivering high-impact strategic Feasibility, Migration and Optimization engagements for clients. This client-facing role combines strong organizational skills, project management, HubSpot platform expertise, and the ability to clearly translate complex business challenges into actionable solutions.
About You
- Experience in a client-facing role
- Proficiency in HubSpot
- Strong organization and documentation skills
- A bias for action, attention to detail, and comfort working across teams
- Experience with Lucidchart for process mapping
- Experience with RevOps practices
- Understanding of Data Migrations and Mapping
- HubSpot Admin Capabilities
- Basic understanding of Salesforce Administration
- Clear documentation and scalable processes for each engagement
A Normal Day in This Role:
Client Strategy Support
- Join client calls to gather requirements, present recommendations, and capture strategic needs
- Translate client business objectives into HubSpot-centered strategic roadmaps
- Prepare strategy deliverables such as process maps, audits, gap analyses, and user stories
Project & Deliverable Management
- Keep track of deadlines, action items, and documentation for strategy engagements
- Maintain internal strategy templates, frameworks, and collateral
- Help manage internal handoffs from strategy to delivery
HubSpot Demos & Configuration
- Build out HubSpot demo environments to showcase strategic solutions
- Configure sample pipelines, workflows, reports, or dashboards for strategic presentations
- Assist in feasibility assessments by evaluating platform capabilities
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contributing to discovery sessions and clearly defining solution requirements.

Finance Assistant

The Finance Assistant plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of Aptitude 8’s internal systems, processes, and financial platforms. This position supports the organization through the timely execution of financial and operational business processes and collaborating with the Business Operations Manager to optimize efficiency. The role focuses on managing accounts receivable and payable, assisting with financial reporting, and supporting operational functions to maintain organizational flow and health.
Key deliverables include:

Maintaining healthy cash flow through timely invoicing, client payment application, and proactive collections.

Managing vendor payments and transaction records to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Supporting accurate financial reporting via timely reconciliation of bank and credit card accounts in preparation for month-end close.
Skills

Intermediate knowledge of Salesforce (dashboard creation, reporting, custom fields)

Experience with accounting systems such as QuickBooks or AccountingSeed

Familiarity with financial processes like AP/AR, general ledger, and profit & loss reporting

A Normal Day in This Role:
Your primary responsibilities will center around financial administration, with a mix of operational support tasks. A typical day may include:

Updating account and billing contacts

Executing ACH transactions

Managing collections and external communications with clients

Performing transaction matching and reconciliations

Preparing financial reports
-
Closing out financials at the end of the month

Making updates to reports and dashboards for various departments

Provisioning projects and setting up accounts in Salesforce

Troubleshooting lightweight system issues

Making light field and workflow edits in systems
You’ll also be expected to work closely with contractors, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring that all financial tasks are completed with accuracy and timeliness.
